I paint entirely intuitively, and I never know what I’m painting until the work is complete. It feels as though I open myself to a greater force working through me. During the painting process, I disappear completely; I lose all sense of time and space, allowing myself to be guided by the flowing energies. Only when the painting is finished do I take a step back, observe, and feel. That’s when I find the title—not with my mind, but with my heart, based on the energy and expression that have come through.
